Laying out the Experiment

I started lifting in high school where I played baseball. Baseball was a big part of my life and still is, I remain involved in coaching and give private lessons to kids in the community. During my freshman year in college my desire to be healthy subsided and I pretty much stopped lifting. My sophomore year I rediscovered weight training and began to train hard with minimal knowledge, I found some information and began training smarter and reached a "soft" looking 220 pounds. Today I weigh 210 and still look a bit soft. I work an active job with long hours and have little time to workout, I plan to follow a conditioning program to reach a better overall health.

The Goal: Look and feel better with overall better health.

The Experiment: Using a conditioning program anyone with a couple of dumbbells, a few minutes, and an open area can do. I will be posting progress pictures of my body every week to show progress. I will possibly post videos of exercises and daily workouts if interest in my transformation blog increases.

Achieving Your Goals

We all aspire to be something greater, but how do you go about achieving such feats? The fact is without goals we have no clear path on which to take. By setting goals you give yourself clear cut road to follow on your own way to success. But setting a goal is only part of the journey to happiness, you have to be motivated to reach your goal, if you find it hard to be motivated from within, try to find outside factors that motivate you: family, friends, loved ones, children, or competition, these are all great motivators, however the deciding factor on your road to success is YOU.
